Hello my name is Minyi Zhen, but you can call me Charlene. I
came to America on March 5, 2013. I arrived in a plane and landed in LA. I used
to live in Taishan, China in Guang Dong Province. Taishan is a small city, but
I love it very much. Now, I live in Porterville, California. It is a small town, but it is very beautiful. Americans are very nice! When I first came to the school, I
met Bethany and Sarah; they are pretty and friendly. I like them very much! I
miss my friends and teachers in China. I also miss the food there. One of my
favorite foods is fish curry. I think the food here in America is a little too
sweet. I am used to eating salty food, like noodles and fish. I will be writing
to you once a week to tell you about all my experiences in a new country.
I know how you feel I had to move to Porterville too. I left my friends and i really miss them. When I came here I thought i wouldn't like it, but I got used to it and it's pretty nice. Well i hope you the best here at Granite Hills. :)
ReplyDeleteI had that feeling too when i moved to Porterville i used to live in lindsay, when i moved here i was scared and i didn't know anybody, but then i got used to it and love it here with my new friends.
