Settling down

My first day at Granite Hills High School was exciting. My friends helped me find my classes and meet my teachers. I was nervous to meet all my new teachers and classmates, but now I am used to it. My teachers are kind and always help me solve the problems. In China, a lot of the teachers at my old school (Overseas High School) were young, and had just graduated from college. At Overseas High School, I lived at the school in the dormitory. Overseas High School is like what Americans call “boarding school.” We had to wear uniforms and we couldn't wear make-up. I had a test every day at Overseas High School. My hardest classes are history and science because there are a lot of new words and I don’t understand them all. I will keep working hard and doing my best!!!

  1. I'm glad you like Granite High School it's a very nice school. Your old school sounds pretty strict though, but wish you good luck in history and science. (:
